Black stainless steel wire rope set with 2mm - 6mm ropes

Our black colored and salt water resistant stainless steel wire ropes made of VA4(AISI 316) stainless steel comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19. The wire rope constructions are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability.

In addition, six stainless steel wire rope clamps, two stainless steel wire rope thimbles and two M5, M6, M8 or M10 stainless steel rope tensioners are included in the delivery.

Tested quality: For our stainless steel wire rope sets we use only high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the stainless steel wire rope clamps DIN 741 and turnbuckles hook / eye DIN 1480 could be determined:

• Wire rope clamps 2mm: 280kg
• Wire rope clamps 3mm: 601kg
• wire rope clamps 4mm: 1.100kg
• wire rope clamps 5mm: 1.682kg
• Wire rope clamps 6mm: 2.446kg
• turnbuckle M5: 204kg
• Turnbuckle M6: 265kg
• Turnbuckle M8: 449kg
• Turnbuckle M10: 765kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the rope clamps & turnbuckles are given without safety factor. Please add at least a 3-5-fold safety factor for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Versatile applications: Our wire rope stainless steel sets are ideally suited for self-assembly on site. In doing so, the wire rope clamps are pressed onto two wire rope parts with the help of a suitable wrench. By using a rope thimble, the steel rope is protected at the attachment or load-bearing point. The stainless steel cable can then be tensioned by the supplied turnbuckle. Due to its seawater resistance, the stainless steel wire rope set can be used outdoors even in severe weather conditions.

Important safety note: Custom-made wire rope end connections often do not comply with the DIN European standard. Please make sure that the wire rope set is installed properly.
