Stainless steel rope plastic coated in 3-10mm thickness, thimble/thimble

Our plastic-coated stainless steel ropes V4A (AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, i.e. 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The steel wire rope is ideal for securing in various applications and is increasingly used outdoors due to its high corrosion protection. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at both ends with a CU rope clamp and a stainless steel thimble.

Durable finish: the high quality wire rope is surrounded by a 1-2mm thick transparent plastic sheath to protect against damage and dirt, and for easy handling. The PVC sheath protects your items from abrasion and scratches.

Tested quality: For our stainless steel wire ropes we use only high quality stainless steel V4A. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the coated stainless steel ropes could be determined:

3mm (2 on 3): 225kg

4mm (3 on 4): 450kg

6mm (4 on 6): 550kg

8mm (6 to 8): 1.625kg

10mm (8 to 10): 3.465kg

 Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying breaking forces, the working load of stainless steel wire ropes is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force. Please note that the data applies only to sheathed stainless steel wire rope with thimbles and copper crimp clamps. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test Reports" on the article page.

Versatile anti-theft protection: The stainless steel ropes can be used as anti-theft devices for garden furniture, patio furniture, baby carriages, bicycles, motorcycles or helmets. Countless goods and objects in the house and garden, as well as in sports and camping can be easily and quickly secured with this wire rope as an anti-theft device.

Wide range of applications: The product can of course be tensioned with suitable turnbuckles and fastened with snap hooks, shackles or quick links.
