PA black coated steel rope for fitness equipment in 4-5mm thickness with loop, ball stopper and threaded bolt

Our black coated steel ropes for fitness equipment comply with DIN European Standard 12385-4 and are assigned to rope class 7x19, which is 7 strands with 19 wires each. The black PA 12 nylon sheath is specially designed for fitness equipment and pulleys. Due to the robust and close-fitting 1mm thick sheathing, the wire rope is protected inside and has increased durability. The steel cable can be used on various lat pulls, cable pulls and weight stations, such as Kettler brand, on the pull tower as a replacement cable. The steel cable is crimped with a loop at one end. At the other end, the rope is pressed with an M10, M12 or M14 threaded bolt in order to be able to fix it in the weight block. In addition, the rope is equipped with a ball stopper, which serves as a stop buffer.

Tested quality: with the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the coated steel ropes for fitness equipment could be determined:

• 4mm (3 on 4): 591kg
• 5mm (4 on 5): 1.157kg

High safety standard: The indicated working loads of the steel ropes are given with a 4-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force.

Large loop: The loop of the wire rope is crimped according to DIN specifications and has the size of the rope diameter factor 15, resulting in the following loop heights and diameters:

• 4mm (3 on 4): 46mm loop height inside, 25mm loop diameter inside
• 5mm (4 on 5): 60mm loop height inside, 30mm loop diameter inside.

If you need a different loop size, please write the exact loop height or loop diameter in the given note field at the end of your order. We will then manufacture the wire rope to fit you.

High-quality ball stopper With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, a minimum breaking strength of 1,223kg of the ball stopper could be determined: No safety factor is also taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking force. Due to the very high breaking load, the ball stopper can be used as a stopping element for large weights without hesitation and does not change its shape due to the application of force.
