Stainless steel rope in 2-8mm thickness with shroud tensioners

Our saltwater resistant stainless steel ropes A4(AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 1x19, 7x7 and 7x19, these are one or 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. Stainless steel ropes with the 1x19 construction are considered "stiff" and less flexible due to the small number of individual wires. The 7x7 and 7x19 constructions, on the other hand, offer high flexibility due to the high number of individual wires. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with stainless steel shroud tensioners with forks to be able to tension the stainless steel rope.

When using the shroud tensioners, please make sure to lubricate the threads before tensioning, using a stainless steel assembly paste. The stainless steel assembly paste prevents seizing or cold welding of stainless steel threads.

Tested quality: We use only high-quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.

Versatile applications: Stainless steel terminal ropes can be used for suitable guy wires for sailboats, for facade greening or for stainless steel railings. Due to their corrosion resistance, stainless steel ropes are increasingly used in outdoor applications.

Easy expansion options: Our stainless steel ropes can of course be fastened with suitable eyebolts or eyeplates from the store of Drahtseile24. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Does the length have to be specified with open or closed shroud tensioner?
The specified length is always the actual usable length from the load pickup point of the fork to the load pickup point of the fork with 80% open clamps each. Under the technical details you will also find a drawing.
Do I properly assume that the desired dimension incl. The edge tensioning is?
Yes, the specified length (desired weight) refers to the complete use length of the fork of the ¾ open edge tensioner up to fork of the ¾ open edge tensioner.Among the technical details you will find a presentation for the length of the wire rope.
Is it at both ends for the edge tensioner a right thread?I want to tension the rope between 2 screws with external threads.
The threaded crease, which is pressed with the wire rope, is a right thread. The threaded charge on the fork is a left thread.
How much can the length be influenced by the shroud tensioner?
Under the technical details you will find the dimensions of the shroud tensioners in the tensioned and untensioned state. This results in the following tensioning ranges: 2mm: 70mm | 3mm: 70mm | 4mm: 75mm | 5mm: 80mm | 6mm: 115mm | 8mm: 160mm
