Stainless steel wire rope with loops and stainless steel ferrules

They comply with the DIN European standard 13414-1 and belong to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, meaning that they consist of seven strands with either seven or nineteen wires each. This high number of individual wires results in both high flexibility and an increased stability. At one end, the steel cable is pressed with a ferrule that is made of V4A stainless steel, and a loop with an inner height of fifteen times the cable diameter. At the other end, the steel cable is hot cut to make it as easy as possible to fix it in a cable clamp or cable winch.

High safety standard: the payload of the stainless steel wire ropes is specified with a fivefold safety factor to the minimum breaking force, and is pressed in accordance with the DIN-EN 12385-4.

Proven quality: we only use high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel for our stainless steel wire ropes with stainless steel ferrules, with this meaning that the wire ropes can be exposed to difficult weather conditions over long periods of time. With the help of several of our calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we can offer complete quality assurance. The following minimum breaking forces could be determined:

• 1mm: 62kg
• 1,5mm: 139kg
• 2mm: 248kg
• 3mm: 521kg
• 4mm: 926kg
• 5mm: 1.448kg
• 6mm: 2.085kg
• 8mm: 3.707kg
• 10mm: 5.793kg

Warning! No safety factor is considered when determining the minimum breaking force. Please take at least a fivefold safety factor into account in your application. The detailed test reports can be found under 'Test Reports' on the article page.

Multiple applications: the stainless steel ropes are used for securing, tensioning, lifting and suspending suitable loads in the craft and private sectors among other things, and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage.
