Stainless steel standing block idler pulley

Our V4A AISI 316 stainless steel standing block idler pulleys with pin and split ring are optimal with steel cables to screw on as wall or ceiling mount.

High safety standard: the working load of the stainless steel pulleys is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the actual breaking load. Using several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking loads were determined:

  • 50mm idler pulley: 5,350kg breaking load.
  • 75mm idler pulley: 6.880kg breaking load.

Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the breaking load! The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Tested quality: The stainless steel deflection pulleys for different types of ropes are made of seawater-proof and acid-resistant stainless steel and can therefore also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. The use of the pulleys in the indoor as well as in the outdoor area is possible without any problems.

Easy handling: With the help of the split ring, the pulley can be easily and quickly released from the housing, so that steel ropes pressed with a loop, eye or thimble can also be inserted.

Versatile applications: Our pulleys are equipped with a standing block, making the pulley perfect for bolting on for ceiling or wall mounting. The pulleys can be used for a large number of ropes and wire ropes due to the large pulley. Due to the large diameters of the pulley of 50mm or 75mm, the pulleys are particularly well suited for the use of steel cables, as a too tight bending radius is avoided.

For the construction I need more detailed dimensions of the block. What are the hole distances to each other, the thickness of the sheet and the dimension to the hole for the suspension of the pulley? For which rope diameter is the pulley suitable?
For the 50mm idler pulley, the spacing of the holes is 49mm in width and 30mm in depth from hole center to hole center. For the 75mm idler pulley, the hole spacing is 68mm in width and 46mm in depth from hole center to hole center. The hole diameter for both rollers (50mm & 75mm) is 8.1mm. The distance between the drill holes on the 50mm idler pulley and the outer edge of the stay block is 5.60mm each. The distance of the drill holes of the 75mm idler pulley to the outer edge of the stay block is 3.80mm each. The thickness of the plate of the 50mm idler pulley is 3.20mm. The thickness of the plate of the 75mm idler pulley is 3.80mm. The 50mm pulley is suitable for steel ropes up to 3mm thickness and the 75mm pulley is suitable for rope thickness up to 4mm steel rope diameter.
Which wire rope thickness from to in mm, can I put in the 1.000kg roll?
On the pulley with a pulley diameter should be used, for continuous load, a maximum of steel rope with a diameter of 3mm.
Which largest possible screws are possible?
The drill hole diameter for both pulleys (50mm & 75mm) is 8.1mm. Accordingly, you can use a maximum of M8 screws.
What is the dimension of the pulleys from the bottom edge of the plate to the center of the hole (split pin)?
For the 50mm idler pulley the dimension is 44mm and for the 75mm idler pulley the dimension is 54mm.
What is the max distance between the block and the sheave? The question refers to whether a rope can get caught between the pulley and the block.
The maximum distance between the pulley and the block is 2.5mm for the 50mm & for the 75mm pulley.
What is the total length of the bolt? Outer edge to outer edge? And what diameter?
