Stainless Steel Swivel Shackle Fork/Fork 5mm - 10mm

Our V4A AISI 316 stainless steel salt water resistant swivel shackles consist of two shackle segments with eyebolts, which are connected together with a stainless steel axle and used to prevent lifting loads from twisting.

Tested quality: The polished and welded swivels are made of high quality V4A stainless steel and can be used even in difficult weather conditions due to the very high corrosion resistance. Due to the closed eye, swivels also achieve very high breaking forces. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the stainless steel swivels could be determined:

• 5x60mm: 866kg
• 6x66mm: 1.376kg
• 8x88mm: 2.385kg
• 10x118mm: 4.536kg

Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the breaking forces, the payload of the swivels is specified in the test reports with a 5-fold safety factor to the breaking force. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Versatile applications: Stainless steel swivels can be optimally used as a fastener to prevent the torsional force exerted by a steel cable on an unguided load. Due to its seawater resistance and high breaking strength, swivels are increasingly used in outdoor applications. In this context, swivels are mainly used to fasten hanging chairs, swivel grills or an anchor.
