Silver suspension rope with annealing separation in 1.5mm - 3mm thickness, thimble and wire rope holder with internal thread

Our silver galvanized adjustable length wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are classified as 7x7 (1.5mm & 2mm) and 7x19 (3mm), which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The length-adjustable wire rope is crimped on one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the steel wire rope at the load suspension point. At the other end, the wire rope is annealed to make insertion into the wire rope holder quick and easy. The scope of delivery also includes a wire rope holder with metric M4 or M6 internal thread. With the help of the wire rope holder, the suspension rope can be continuously adjusted in length and fixed at the desired height. Suspension ropes, in conjunction with wire rope holders, are used to suspend suitable loads, adjust their height and do not require any additional tools.

High safety standard: The working load of the suspension rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope holders could be determined:

• 1.5mm: 78kg
• 2mm: 127kg
• 3mm: 326kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the wire rope holders are given without safety factor. Please apply at least a 5-fold safety factor for your application (example 2mm: 127kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 25kg (working load)). Easy handling: With the help of the lock nut of the wire rope holder, the steel rope can be easily and quickly adjusted in height. By tightening the lock nut, the wire rope holder is fixed on the rope and slipping is prevented. Inside the wire rope holder are three balls, which are held in the cone by a spring. Once the desired height of the wire rope holder is reached, the balls clamp the suspension rope. The wire rope is not damaged during this process. Using the metric internal thread, suitable eyebolts, screws, hooks or suitable attachments with metric threads can be firmly connected to the Gripper.

Versatile applications: Suspension ropes with Gripper Wire Rope Holders are to be used only for applications of the determined working loads. When used, please make absolutely sure that the locking nut is hand-tight, otherwise the wire rope may slip. Our suspension sets can be optimally used for applications where the length has to be adjusted on site. Possible applications for this are for example suspended pictures, illuminants, loudspeakers, decoration or other objects.
