Stainless steel suspension rope with annealing separation in 2mm - 3mm thickness, thimble and wire rope holder with eye plate

Our saltwater resistant stainless steel suspension ropes, made of A4 AISI 316, comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 (2mm) and 7x19 (3mm), which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The suspension rope is pressed on one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point and annealed on the other end to make fixing in the wire rope holder as easy as possible.

Our stainless steel wire rope suspension ropes are available in 2mm and 3mm thicknesses, and are also equipped with a wire rope holder with eye plate and matching pan head screws. The wire rope holders consist of an oval eye plate with a 180° movable wire rope holder. With the nozzle pressed down, wire and steel ropes can be continuously adjusted in length or height and then fixed with the tightened nozzle. Wire rope holders allow suitable loads to be quickly and easily suspended from wire ropes or adjusted in height. The suspension sets can be used for hanging lamps, pictures, artwork or mirrors.

Tested quality: Due to the low breaking forces, we recommend using our suspension sets with wire rope holders only for light suspensions. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope slider with eye plate could be determined:

• 2mm: 145kg
• 3mm: 163kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the wire rope sliders are given without safety factor. Please use at least a 5-fold safety factor depending on the application (example 2mm: 145kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 29kg (working load)). Easy handling: With the help of the nozzle, the suspension rope can be easily and quickly adjusted in length. The balls underneath the nozzle fix the wire rope holder on the rope and prevent it from slipping. The wire rope is not damaged during this process. The supplied 4x40mm pan-head screws ensure quick and easy installation. The wire rope holders with eye plate can be quickly attached to suitable anchor points in wood or with suitable dowels in suitable substrates using a suitable screwdriver. The steel cable can then be suspended.

Versatile applications: The suspension ropes with wire rope holder with direct wall or ceiling fastening are only to be used for the application of the determined working loads. The suspension sets can be optimally used for applications where the length has to be individually adjusted on site.
