Auger bolt stainless steel V4A AISI 316 with wood thread

Our stainless steel eyebolts made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with wood thread and small eye are optimal as a fastener for any kind of steel cables.

Tested quality: The stainless steel eyebolts with wood thread are made of high quality VA stainless steel and can, due to the sea water and acid resistance, also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. Due to the closed eye, the eyebolts can demonstrate very high breaking forces. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the stainless steel eyebolts were fastened to pine wood, and the following minimum breaking forces were determined:

• 6x40mm: 295kg
• 8x60mm: 504kg
• 10x80mm: 968kg

In all test trials, the eyebolts were pulled out of the pine wood, and none of the eyelets suffered any significant damage. Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking load, at least a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load should be included in the application. Easy handling: eyebolts can be quickly fastened to suitable anchor points in the wood or with a suitable dowel in the masonry with the help of the pronounced thread.
