Deflection pulley for Savekingline®

Our black powder-coated deflection pulleys for the Savekingline® rope system comply with DIN EN 795 Form C and are used to subdivide the lifeline for lengths over 12.00m. The horizontal rope system of the Savekingline® serves as fall protection for persons for use on elevated workplaces, provided that these cannot be carried out by elevating work platforms.

Maximum system length: The Lifeline system of the Savekingline® is approved for a maximum system length of 60m, whereby the maximum bay length of 12m must not be exceeded. For system lengths exceeding 12m, the Savekingline® must be divided into several fields using the deflection pulleys. The deflection pulley must be attached to a suitable anchorage point with an 8mm steel rope and a shackle in accordance with DIN EN 13889.

DIN EN 795 guidelines: The Savekingline® deflection pulley manufactured by Drahtseile24 is approved according to DIN EN 795.

Tested quality: Using several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, a tensile test of the deflection pulley was carried out in conjunction with a 6mm steel cable. In this test, the wire rope in the deflection pulley broke at 43.9kN, the deflection pulley showed no changes whatsoever, the wheel is rotatable as before the test.
