Stainless steel rope in 2-8mm thickness with shroud tensioner and screw terminal

Our saltwater resistant stainless steel ropes A4(AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 1x19, 7x7 and 7x19, these are one or 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. Stainless steel ropes with the 1x19 construction are considered "stiff" and less flexible due to the small number of individual wires. The 7x7 and 7x19 constructions, on the other hand, offer high flexibility due to the high number of individual wires. The wire rope is pressed on one end with a stainless steel shroud tensioner with fork, in order to be able to tension the stainless steel rope. At the other end, the wire rope is swaged with a stainless steel screw terminal with M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12 or M16 metric threads.

When using the shroud tensioner, please make sure to lubricate the threads before tensioning, using a stainless steel assembly paste. The stainless steel assembly paste prevents seizing or cold welding of stainless steel threads.

Tested quality: We use only high quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.

Versatile applications: Stainless steel terminal ropes can be used for suitable guy wires for sailboats, for facade greening or for stainless steel railings. Due to their corrosion resistance, stainless steel ropes are increasingly used outdoors.

Does the specified length (desired weight) refers to the steel cable or the length incl. The two terminals are specified at the ends?
The specified length (desired measure) refers to the complete use length of end thread to load receiving point of the fork (at 80% opening).Among the technical details you will find a presentation for the length of the wire rope.
What approximate breaking strength can I expect for the press connections (e.g. for 6mm, 7x19 flexible, M10, for screw terminal and shroud tensioner)?
In principle, the minimum breaking load of the stainless steel wire rope can always be taken as a basis for stainless steel wire ropes with terminals, since in all test trials it was always the wire rope that broke.
On which side of the shroud tensioner terminal is the left-hand thread on the fork side or on the rope side?
The left-hand thread is located on the fork side.
