Stainless steel T-terminals for pressing for 3mm – 4mm ropes

Our high-quality ball terminals made of rustproof V4A stainless steel (AISI 316) offer a long-lasting and corrosion-resistant solution for the end connection of steel ropes. They are particularly suitable for coated steel ropes of fitness equipment.

The T-terminals can be pressed securely and reliably onto the steel cable using both rollers and hydraulic pressing tools. Their high resistance to moisture and salt water makes them ideal for outdoor use.

 Tested quality: In conjunction with the hydraulic pressing tongs from our online shop, the following breaking forces of the terminals were determined:

• 4mm (3 to 4) with T-terminals: 866kg
• 5mm (4 to 5) with T-terminals: 1,019kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the T-terminals are given without a safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included in the calculation for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under “Test reports” on the article page.

Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic pressing pliers, the rope terminal can be quickly and securely attached to the steel rope. Please note that pressing with a simple manual pressing pliers, such as our 2-in-1 pressing pliers & wire rope shears, is not possible. To ensure a high breaking load, the sheathing of sheathed steel cables must be removed before pressing.

Optimal use: Our stainless steel T-terminals are the ideal solution for the end connection of steel cables, especially for fitness equipment. Thanks to the possibility of self-production, you do not have to determine the exact length of the steel cable in advance; the wire rope can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. The firm compression of the steel cable creates a strong and durable connection that cannot be loosened afterwards. The T-shaped head of the terminal also acts as an unobtrusive rope stopper: it prevents the rope from slipping through and allows for secure attachment to suitable anchor points.

Easy to expand: Our T-terminals can be combined with all coated steel cables for fitness equipment in thicknesses 4mm (3 to 4) and 5mm (4 to 5) or with 3mm and 4mm stainless steel cables from our online shop and pressed using the hydraulic pressing tongs.
