Turnbuckle High Strength Fork / Fork 1/2x9" - 7/8x12"

Our hot-dip galvanized, high-strength turnbuckles conform to ASTM F1145 (formerly U.S. Federal Specification. FF-T-791) and consists of an open turnbuckle nut, two clevis pins with right and left lock nuts. The turnbuckles are available in 1/2x9", 1/2x12", 5/8x9", 5/8x12", and 7/8x12 sizes. The turnbuckles are characterized by a very high payload and a particularly long clamping travel of up to 300mm.

Tested quality: Due to the processing of high-strength steel and the use of forks, the turnbuckles have very high breaking forces. The turnbuckles have the following minimum breaking forces:

• 1/2x9": 5,000kg
• 1/2x12": 5.000kg
• 5/8x9": 7.950kg
• 5/8x12": 7.950kg
• 7/8x12": 16.350kg

Attention. The payload of the turnbuckles is given with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load.

Easy handling: With the help of the right and left hand thread, the turnbuckles can be tightened and loosened very easily and quickly, as well as tightened with the right and left lock nut. The extra long tensioning travel allows wire ropes to be tensioned over a long distance.

Easy expansion options: Our turnbuckles can of course be combined with matching steel cables or wire rope sets from the store of Drahtseile24. The turnbuckle can be connected to the steel cable with quick links or matching shackles. When using turnbuckles and wire ropes, we recommend the following combination:

• 1/2x9": 4mm - 6mm wire rope
• 1/2x12": 4mm - 6mm wire ropes
• 5/8x9": 8mm wire rope
• 5/8x12": 8mm wire rope
• 7/8x12": 10mm - 14mm wire rope
