Stainless steel threaded terminal black for self-assembly with internal thread for 2mm - 6mm ropes

Our black colored and saltwater resistant thread terminals made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel consist of an open M6 thread terminal to accept a right or left hand thread, and an insert with allen grub screws to fix the wire rope.

Proven quality: the black threaded terminals with M6 female thread can be used for 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm & 6mm thick steel cables. Made of high quality and rustproof V4A stainless steel, the thread terminals can be exposed to harsh weather conditions. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:

• 2mm: 140kg
• 3mm: 400kg
• 4mm: 300kg
• 5mm: 530kg
• 6mm: 500kg

Attention. The breaking forces of wire rope terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that wire rope terminals for self-assembly are not suitable for lifting and pulling loads. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Easy handling: With the help of an Allen key, the terminal can be quickly and securely fastened to the steel cable by means of the three grub screws. Crimping, as is the case with roller terminals, is not necessary. Thanks to the internal thread, the terminal can be turned to a metric M6 right-hand or left-hand thread and thus tensioned.

Advantage to the rolling terminal: Stainless steel screw terminals for self-assembly can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension stainless steel cables between two fastening points. Due to the possibility of self-assembly, the exact length of the tensioning cable does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site.

Easy expansion options: Our threaded terminals can of course be combined with all matching stainless steel ropes with or without sheathing from the store of Drahtseile24.
