Stainless steel rope in 1.5mm - 6mm thickness, thimble with captive snap hook with screw lock

Our saltwater resistant stainless steel ropes A4(AISI 316) comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point. In addition, the wire rope is swaged with a stainless steel snap hook DIN 5299/Form C with thimble and screw lock.

High safety standard: The working load of the stainless steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold and the working load of the snap hook with a 2-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force. It should be noted that the breaking load of the wire rope is much higher than that of the snap hook.

Tested quality: We use only high-quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.

Versatile applications: Stainless steel ropes are used for securing, lifting and suspending suitable loads in the trades, bridge, engineering and shipbuilding sectors, among others. In addition, they continue to be used as a decorative element in garden or shop window areas.

Various extension options: The product can of course be tensioned with suitable turnbuckles and additionally fastened with quick links, shackles or further snap hooks.
