Black wire rope holder with hook for 1mm - 6mm ropes

Our black plated brass wire rope holders consist of an elongated body with hook, snap lock and a lock nut. With the lock nut screwed on, wire and steel ropes can be continuously adjusted in length and then fixed in place with the tightened nut. Wire rope holders are used to suspend suitable loads from wire ropes, adjust their height and do not require any additional tools.

Tested quality: The wire rope clamps can be used for 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm steel wire ropes. Due to the low breaking forces, we recommend using wire rope holders for light applications only. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope grips could be determined:

• 1mm: 30kg
• 1.5mm: 152kg
• 2mm: 244kg
• 2.5mm: 356kg
• 3mm: 591kg
• 4mm: 1,070kg
• 5mm: 950kg
• 6mm: 1,885kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the wire rope holders are specified without a safety factor. Please use at least a 5-fold safety factor for your application (example 1.5mm: 152kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 30kg (working load)). Easy handling: The wire rope can be quickly and easily adjusted in height and length using the safety nozzle. The snapped-in safety nozzle fixes the wire rope clamp to the wire rope and prevents it from slipping. There are three balls inside the wire rope holder, which are held in the cone by a spring. As soon as the desired length or height is reached, the balls clamp the wire rope. The wire rope is not damaged during this process.

Versatile areas of application: Wire rope connections with height and length-adjustable wire rope grips are only to be used for the payloads determined. Wire rope clamps are ideal for applications where the height and length of the wire rope and the size of the loop need to be adjusted on site. Possible applications include suspended pipes, pictures, lamps or other objects.
