Stainless steel rope black in 2mm - 6mm thickness with shroud tensioner & fork terminal

Our saltwater resistant and black colored stainless steel ropes made of V4A(AISI 316) stainless steel comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, these are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The stainless steel ropes offer, due to the high number of individual wires, a high flexibility. The wire rope is pressed on one end with a stainless steel shroud tensioner with fork, in order to be able to tension the stainless steel rope. At the other end, the wire rope is pressed with a fork terminal to be able to attach it to suitable anchor points.

When using the shroud tensioner, please make sure to lubricate the threads with stainless steel assembly paste before tensioning. The stainless steel assembly paste prevents seizing or cold welding of stainless steel threads. 

Tested quality: We only use high-quality stainless steel for our black stainless steel cables. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee seamless quality assurance. The following minimum breaking forces of the stainless steel cables were determined in several test trials:

• 2mm shroud tensioner with steel cable 7x7: 336kg
• 3mm shroud tensioner with 7x19 steel cable: 662kg
• 4mm shroud tensioner with 7x19 steel cable: 1,274kg
• 5mm rigging screw with steel cable 7x19: 1,478kg
• 6mm rigging screw with steel cable 7x19: 2.650kg

• 2mm fork terminal with steel cable 7x7: 336kg
• 3mm fork terminal with steel cable 7x19: 764kg
• 4mm fork terminal with steel cable 7x19: 1,274kg
• 5mm fork terminal with steel cable 7x19: 1,559kg
• 6mm fork terminal with 7x19 steel cable: 2,599kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the terminals are specified without a safety factor. Please base your application on at least a 5-fold safety factor (example 3mm / 7x19 / shroud tensioner: 662kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 130kg (payload)). Versatile uses: Stainless steel terminal ropes can be used for suitable guy wires for sailboats, for facade greening or for stainless steel railings. Due to their corrosion resistance, stainless steel ropes are increasingly used in outdoor applications.
