Stainless steel threaded terminal with woos thread for crimping for 3mm - 6mm ropes

Our saltwater-resistant threaded terminals made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with wooden thread are available with left-hand or right-hand thread. The insertion is located on one side of the rolling terminal and can be connected to the steel cable by crimping.

Tested quality: Thanks to the use of high-quality, rust-free V4A stainless steel, the wooden threaded terminals can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. The high-quality rolling terminals can be pressed with steel cables using hydraulic pressing tools. In conjunction with the hydraulic pressing tongs from our online shop, the following breaking forces of the terminals were determined:

• 2mm with terminals: 326kg
• 3mm with terminals: 326kg
• 4mm with terminals: 907kg
• 5mm with terminals: 968kg
• 6mm with terminals: 448kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the terminals are specified without a safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be calculated for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the screw terminal can be quickly and securely attached to the steel cable. Please note that crimping with simple manual crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope cutter, is not possible. Thanks to the wooden thread, the terminal can be fastened to suitable attachment points in wood or in conjunction with a suitable dowel in masonry or concrete. No additional fastening materials such as snap hooks or eyebolts are required for fastening.

Advantage over the terminal with grub screws: Stainless steel rolled terminals can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension stainless steel cables between two attachment points. Thanks to the possibility of customisation, the exact length of the tensioning cable does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. Due to the fixed crimping, it is not possible to subsequently separate the steel cable from the terminal.
