Black suspension rope with annealing separation in 1mm - 6mm thickness, thimble and wire rope holder rope clamp

Our black, height & length adjustable wire ropes comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, these are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The wire rope, which is adjustable in length, is crimped on one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load bearing point. At the other end, the wire rope is annealed to make insertion into the wire rope holder quick and easy. The scope of delivery also includes a wire rope holder with rope clamp. With the help of the wire rope holder, the suspension rope can be continuously adjusted in length, fixed at the desired height and at the same time the diameter of the loop can be individually adjusted. Suspension ropes, in conjunction with wire rope holders, are used to suspend suitable loads, adjust their height and do not require any additional tools.

High safety standard: The working load of the suspension rope is specified with a safety factor of 5 times the minimum breaking force and is crimped in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope clamps could be determined:

• 1mm: 30kg
• 1.5mm: 152kg
• 2mm: 244kg
• 2.5mm: 356kg
• 3mm: 591kg
• 4mm: 1,070kg
• 5mm: 950kg
• 6mm: 1,885kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the wire rope holders are specified without a safety factor. Please use at least a 5-fold safety factor for your application (example 1.5mm: 152kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 30kg (working load)). Easy handling: The wire rope can be quickly and easily adjusted in height and length using the safety nozzle. The snapped-in safety nozzle fixes the wire rope clamp to the wire rope and prevents it from slipping. There are three balls inside the wire rope holder, which are held in the cone by a spring. As soon as the desired length or height is reached, the balls clamp the wire rope. The wire rope is not damaged during this process.

Versatile areas of application: Suspension ropes with wire rope holders are only to be used for the payloads determined. When using them, please ensure that the locking nut is hand-tight, otherwise the wire rope may slip. Our suspension sets are ideal for applications where the length needs to be adjusted on site. Possible applications include suspended pictures, lamps or other objects.
