Galvanized hook terminals for crimping for 1.5mm - 3mm ropes.

Our galvanized hook terminals are ideal for crimping as an end connection of wire and steel ropes and can be pressed onto the rope using hydraulic crimping pliers or a crimping tool. The hook terminals are equipped with a spring safety device, allowing the wire rope to be quickly attached to suitable load suspension points without the need for any further connecting link.

Tested quality: The galvanized hook terminals can be used for 1.5mm - 3mm thick steel cables. Due to the breaking forces, we recommend using hook terminals only for lighter suspension & rigging applications. In connection with the hydraulic crimping pliers from our online store, the following breaking forces (converted into kg) of the crimped wire ropes with hook terminals could be determined:

• 1.5mm: 91kg
• 2mm: 132kg
• 2,5mm: 163kg
• 3mm: 356kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the hook terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included for their application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the wire rope terminal can be fixed quickly and safely to the steel rope. Please note that crimping with a simple hand crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope shears, is not possible. To ensure a high breaking load, the sheathing must be removed from sheathed steel cables before crimping.

Optimal application: Our hook terminals can be optimally used as end connections for galvanized wire ropes. Due to the possibility of in-house production, the exact length of the steel cable does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. With the help of the pressed hook terminal with spring safety device, the inserted wire rope can be fastened directly to a suitable fastening point on the ceiling or in the wall without any further connecting link, such as a carabiner or shackle. Due to the fixed crimping, a subsequent separation of the steel cable from the terminal, is not possible.

Easy expansion options: Our hook terminals can of course be combined with all galvanized 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm wire ropes from the store of Drahtseile24 and pressed with the hydraulic pressing pliers.
