Silver suspension rope in 1mm - 6mm thickness with two wire rope holders rope clamp

Our silver galvanized, length & height adjustable wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The wire rope, adjustable in length and height, is annealed on both sides to make insertion into the wire rope holders quick and easy. Two wire rope holders with rope clamp are included in the delivery. With the help of wire rope holders, the wire rope can be continuously adjusted in length, fixed at the desired height and at the same time the diameter of the loop can be individually adjusted. Suspension ropes, in conjunction with wire rope holders, are used to suspend suitable loads, adjust their length and height, and do not require any additional tools.

High safety standard: The payload of the suspension set is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is grouted in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope holder rope clamps could be determined:

• 1mm: 30kg
• 1.5mm: 152kg
• 2mm: 244kg
• 2.5mm: 356kg
• 3mm: 591kg
• 4mm: 1,070kg
• 5mm: 950kg
• 6mm: 1,885kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the wire rope holders are given without safety factor. Please apply at least a 5-fold safety factor for your application (example 1.5mm: 152kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 30kg (working load)). Easy handling: With the help of the safety nozzle, the wire rope can be easily and quickly adjusted in height and length. The engaged safety nozzle fixes the wire rope clamp on the wire rope and prevents it from slipping. Inside the wire rope holder are three balls each, which are held in the cone by a spring. Once the desired length or height is reached, the balls clamp the wire rope. The steel cable is not damaged during this process.

Versatile applications: Wire rope suspension sets with wire rope holders are to be used only for the application of the determined working loads. When using them, please make absolutely sure that the locking nut is hand-tight, otherwise the wire rope may slip. Our suspension sets can be optimally used for applications where the length has to be adjusted on site. Possible applications include suspended banners, acoustic modules, pipes, displays, artwork or other objects.
